Helping Youth to Find a Home

In January of 2017, King County was selected as 1 of 10 communities across the United States to implement a Youth Homelessness Demonstration Project (YHDP). This selection comes with a funding allocation of $5.4 million over two years to end the crisis of youth and young adults (YYA) experiencing homelessness. The project is funded by the U.S.

We recently participated in a regional Technical Assistance Coordinating Center (TACC) forum for the states in the Midwest (Region V) and Southeast (Region IV) that are expanding home visiting programs with federal Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) grants.
